Welcome to At The Table. We’re so glad you’re here! You may be wondering, “what’s this all about?”, well I’m here to tell ya! 😉
It has always been a dream of mine to have a successful blog. I have loved to write since I was a little girl, always making up stories and scenarios in my own little world. Then I grew up, met my husband, got married, and 2 kids later, here we are! Ha, if only it were that easy.
This blog has been a long time coming. I have felt God’s call to write for many years now, but I have run from it. I ran because I was scared of failing, intimidated by everyone who seemed more successful than me. I ran because I knew it would be hard and I didn’t want to feel like I was wasting my family’s time if I didn’t succeed, or if it took to long to get up and running. I ran because I felt like there was just an easier way to go about bringing in income, and even in finding my purpose. But y’all, I’m tired of running.
So I want to welcome you all on my journey. I don’t want it to be just my journey though; I want it to be your journey too. I hope that through seeing my failures, struggles, and fears, and how God can use even the ugliest things in life to bring about the most vibrant light, you will be encouraged and empowered. You will be able to face fears you have long been avoiding, overcome struggles you have never seemed to be able to kick, and ultimately find God’s perfect love and plan for your lives. Now I don’t expect my blog, my little corner of the world, to be what causes all these changes and triumphs in your life – not even a bit. But my prayer is that through this blog, through the work God has set before me, you will be blessed. That through me being able to face the same things you are facing, you will see the goodness, magnitude and great, great glory of our God. That He is for you. He is for me. That His plans are good. That HE is good. And that no matter how far or how long we run for, He is always ready and waiting to lead us back home.
So, I hope you’ve come here ready. Ready to learn, to laugh, and to get some good eats! (That last part is courtesy of my awesome hubby, he’s the chef! 😉 )
Thanks again for stopping by, and welcome to the family. ♥️
